We are uniting young children in need with wonderful volunteers, to help with education, career exploration, tutoring in extra trades or languages, volunteer work in the community, and fun. All volunteers are required to submit a background check, go through an interview, and give three references.

My Family Friend Program, the missing peice. Inspiring youth to attain previously unimagined goals. I manage a non profit business that provides a safe alternative for children in Washington. We provide fun, friendship, guidance, and awareness to young children in need of great role models for a better life. I am cutting out the large overhead costs, benefits, and salaries that eat up many donations. I would like to be in charge of marketing, fundraising, advertising, business contacts, interviewing, and as much else as possible.
My Family Friend screens all volunteers and matches them with children with similar interests, goals, and hobbies. “Friends” get together for various activities such as career exploration, tutoring, sports, monthly events, and more. “Friends” interested in specific careers, go visit local representatives of their career of choice. Bring your "Friend" to work day. Youth interested in giving back to the community, will also have the opportunity to offer their time with "Friends" at other local volunteering locations.
My Family Friend hosts annual events, furthering friendships with other volunteers, and other “Friends”. My Family Friend is open to any parent to apply for “Friendship”. I work very closely with foster care programs in Washington, to provide “Friendship” to children in severe need especially ages 6 - 10.
We are also partnering with military families to help assist youth in need, with so many families deployed.
